Methodology for Food Production Garden
Following are detail implementation steps/process;
- Contact and meetings with CBOs on objective and brief strategy of FPGs establishment. (during initial meeting with CBOs)
- Orientation of CBOs on beneficiaries and site selection for the FPGs only those beneficiaries who are ready to allocate a permanent land for FPG will be selected.
- FPG (vegetables on permanently designated 5-10 marla land closed to the beneficiary household, farmer will be supported for fencing and protection. The designated plot would be used for both vegetables of summer and winter season for whole year.
- Written resolution from CBOs (Men and women) for beneficiary and site selection
- Identification & selection of women farmers as per selection criteria
